Who we are

PassNHAExam is operated by Cognitive Health Inc. ("Cognitive Health", "we", "us"), the legal entity responsible for this service. Cognitive Health Inc. is the data controller for the personal information described in this notice, meaning we decide what personal data is collected and for what purposes.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to operate an exam preparation platform and keep your study history accurate across devices.

• Account details you provide: name, email address and password credentials handled by our authentication provider.
• Study profile details you choose to add, such as your state, target exam date and daily question goal.
• Product activity: questions answered, exam sessions, flashcard reviews, bookmarks and notes.
• AI Study Coach conversations you send, stored so your threads are available when you return.
• Billing records from our payment processor, such as plan, status and transaction identifiers. We never see or store full card numbers.

How we use your information

Your information is used to provide and improve the service, not to build advertising profiles.

• Delivering practice questions, mock exams, flashcards and readiness analytics.
• Maintaining your account, subscription status and access to paid content.
• Responding to support requests and sending service messages related to your account.
• Diagnosing errors and improving question quality and platform performance.

Legal basis for processing

Where data protection law requires a legal basis, Cognitive Health Inc. relies on the following.

• Performance of a contract: creating and maintaining your account, delivering the study platform and managing your subscription.
• Legitimate interests: securing the platform, preventing fraud and abuse, diagnosing errors and improving question quality, in a way that is balanced against your rights.
• Consent: optional communications such as marketing emails, and any non-essential cookies, which you can withdraw at any time.
• Legal obligation: keeping accounting, tax and invoicing records and responding to lawful requests.

AI Study Coach

Messages you send to the AI Study Coach are transmitted to our AI model provider to generate a response, and the conversation is stored in your account so you can revisit it.

Please do not include resident information, protected health information or other confidential facility data in coach conversations.

Sharing and service providers

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the vendors required to run the platform, and only to the extent needed to perform their function.

Orders are sold by Cognitive Health Inc., the seller of record. Card payments are processed on our behalf by Stripe, which handles payment processing, subscription billing and invoicing. Cognitive Health Inc. will appear on your bank or card statement. Stripe acts as an independent controller for the payment data it collects, and we never receive your full card number.

• Email delivery for account and support messages.
• Professional advisers (legal and accounting) and authorities where required by law.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember interface preferences. Any product analytics we run are used in aggregate to understand which study features are working, not to track you across other websites.

Data retention and deletion

Account and study data is retained while your account is active so your progress history remains meaningful. You can ask us to delete your account and associated study data at any time, and we will honour the request except where we must keep limited billing records for accounting purposes.

Your choices and requests

You can review and update your profile details from inside the app. For access, correction, export or deletion requests, contact us and we will respond within a reasonable period.

Security

Access to study and account data is restricted per user through row-level database rules, traffic is encrypted in transit, and administrative functions require an authenticated administrator role. No online service can promise perfect security, so we also encourage you to use a strong, unique password.

Children

PassNHAExam is intended for adult professionals preparing for licensure and is not directed at children under 16.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify account holders by email.
